About

Hello, I am LA Dixon, the transitional wellness coach, and it is a joy to share with you my passion and purpose! I have a passion in focusing on health, integrative solutions, and wholistic wellness in prolonging the quality of life in everyone, and in every wellness realm. I received my first Masters from Meharry Medical College in 2015, in Public Health, and have completed a one year doctoral training in Pharmaceutical Science. Upon completion, I invested myself in Herbalism as well as Health and Wellness Coaching. I obtained my Master Herbalist Certificate from KCNH, and finished my second Masters from MUIH in Health and Wellness Coaching with a concentration in Herbal Studies. My overall goal is to expand the curious minds and knowledge in integrative health, wholistic wellness (mind, body and soul), as well as continue providing services and organic- biodegradable products/education for the community, especially in the underserved areas. As a culinary health + literacy educator, public health promoter, Master Gardener + Herbalist, I enjoy helping others find their optimal wellness tools by helping to create individual resources and networks through partnerships, support the importance and promotion of food security, and provide research service to help future innovative changes required in healthcare. I assist in providing monthly recipes to Food banks and pantries across the nation, to support food security and help to bring awareness to mindful and alternative food behaviors, provide culinary literacy + education, and assist in zero-waste practices. I coach through guidance, by helping others become more impactful in intentional efforts and delivery methods, providing longevity, efficacy, and expansion in life. Areas of concentration are: herbalism, health and wellness guidance/coaching, culinary healing, cannabis therapy, metaphysical/spiritual transitions and understanding, divination, health education, Integrative health, and Health research.
